Finishing the 1st Month

Wow time passes quickly. It seems like a few days ago Tina and I were talking and getting ready to go to Achievers. I remember saying this year I will be picked for a New Year to a New You. That is a good lesson for us all because I've said that every year since Nutrilite and Amway started it. I could tell you about how we went Platinum by speaking it. I could tell about how we found and bought our house by speaking what we wanted. It makes me wonder why I can't live by that faith every time? I see so many people believing they are going to build this business and every time I see them they talk about it. Then I see them and they don't talk about it as much anymore. Then they fade away from the business. I somehow will find a way to inspire people to keep believing, talking about and fighting for their dreams and goals. I am not sure when or how but I will. I see this journey Tina and I are on as the same. We had to first believe, then we had to talk about it a lot.
After the talking comes commitment. That is where is gets a little scary. You told people you were going to make it and now they are watching. Guess what tell everyone and then never quit doing what it takes! Just think in the next few days my pictures will be on the Amway Global website. That may get peoples attention. Ya think! Guess what I am not afraid. I am totally committed! I have to do this. I made a commitment to all the great people at Amway and Nutrilite. The same 6 or so people who picked me are still working with me. All but Chip Wall were at the Nutrilite Experience with us. The people that work at our companies are just like the people who build it. They truly care about our success. They want me to have a better life not just loose weight. They want me to be healthy and live a exciting long prosperous life. Just like building the business. I am on a team. I will not let them down. The 6 other people in the program are my team also. We stay in touch by email and a blog. Every week we have a conference call. Last week I hurt my back and was hurting. I had people praying and believing I would get better. It touched me. I read the emails and couldn't even answer them. Too few people have a chance to be involved with people who truly care. Sadly some who have the chance for some reason turn their backs. I know some time we will need those relationships and I try to appreciate them everyday. I have the best wife on earth, great kids and true friends. Reasons to get healthy, I think so. I still have not weighed myself but my clothes fit better and I look and feel better. I believe I am better in every way. A great deal this thing called life. I will try to write more often. Sunday on a warm weekend for Michigan. It has been a busy week. I know that is pretty much true for everyone. We had a great meeting Thursday night with Hal Golden. Just think he has been free for something like 18 years. If you are willing to make a commitment to your future now is the time. It was fun watching Ice Skating yesterday and seeing Amway Global everywhere. I loved seeing the Nutrilite commercial and all the great people talking about your business. We have the best story in business when every one is going backwards we grow by a 1.1 Billion from 7.1 to 8.2 billion. This is a great victory. Tell the story to everyone you see. People want good news.
Some of the photos and stories from New Year to a New You team will be on the Amway Global web page this week. Julie Smith is the writer and she called me Thursday for a update. It is hard to believe that in only three weeks from the day I left for Nutrilite I feel so much better. We have only been eating from the Trim Body System Book for 2 weeks. The food is really good. Tina makes the dinners and we are both excited about changing the way we eat. You will be satisfied with the taste and quantity of food. We are never hungry. It seems like we are eating too much sometimes. Friends all it takes to change your life is a decision. I will write more later. I don't want to be late for church. Remember it's about living a victorious life in every way. Go win in everything you care about.

Week 2

I now can start to see some difference in myself. Not just physical but totally. I feel better! I have more energy, I sleep better and I can eat green peppers and not get heartburn. Heat burn has been a part of my life for years and what a relief, it's gone. It was about the first day at The Center for Optimal Health that I realized this was a life change program not a weight loss program. I hope you buy your tickets online for the Nutrilite Clinic and get Dr. Duke's book. $25 and you get the book and the clinic. We need to get serious about Nutrilite. Have you studied the web site? Please do you will learn about the finest part of our great company. Well I am going to the work out room for a while. I am in Chicago for my job.
